| Integrate with WordPress or another blog?
I have used PP for years now, and still dig it. However...one of the sites I use PhotoPost on is my family site (to share family pics). I have it integrated with UBB.Threads 6.4.4 (last remotely stable version) - and this is becoming dated.
I don't really need a forum on my family site, it just made it easy to post news and updates, and since PP integrated, it was a breeze.
I am looking at WordPress, etc to give my family the ability to continue posting 'updates' - but not have to deal with the bulk of a Forum system. Blogs allow comments...so this should still work. However - I would want to integrate anything we use with PhotoPost as well.
Has anyone ever integrated a blog system with PhotoPost? There are only forums listed on the Integration page (for obvious reasons), but I could see a viable use for this as well.
Just curious...might start working on it myself.

We don't currently have an integration with any blog software; but if there is a registered user database for WordPress, it might be possible.

Hi Michael, been a while
Yap, I just got to looking at Wordpress's User Table, it is actually much simpler than PhotoPost's users table (which I have never used).
ID
user_login
user_pass
user_nicename
user_email
user_url
user_registered
user_activation_key
user_status
display_name
So it is definitely possible. However...looking at it, I may way to try integrating Wordpress into PhotoPost's User Auth instead of the other way around. Will have to see how WP is built. Might just be easier to do it the other way around.

I haven't ever looked at WordPress, so can't be of much help, I'm afraid.
I did start building a blog of PhotoPost that I use on my ExtremeFitness site; just haven't had the time to see about making it into its own product.

I saw that a while back, but also noticed in another thread that you said you had not done much with it in terms of a release-type thing.
I wrote a hack for Coppermine a couple of years ago that did this very thing (added a "news" front-end), so this is definitely doable. I just need to find the time to sit down and mess with it.

If you know the table structures and how the cookies are formatted you should be able to follow one of the integration files and write one yourself

Vbulletin + Wordpress bridge is available on vb.org, so if you are using Vbulletin + Photopost -> then this should also have wordpress integrated automatically |

Just now getting back around to this...so I might sit down and try to hack it out.
Will post something if I get it figured out.
