phpprobid - looks very nice

Ok, I'm up in the air which to buy. Photopost's classified / auction software OR the auction software at www.phpprobid.com.

www.phpprobid.com does offer a bridge so it can be integrated with vBulletin, HOWEVER, users will need to reset their passwords to be in sync. Whilst it's not as clean as using photopost, it does have a better layout and users will relate to it more as it's based on eBays layout.

What I would really love is to get photopost in the same layout as eBay and www.phpprobid.com. I suppose this could be done with a lot of template changes etc. BUT is photopost planning on making their auction / classifieds software resemble more like eBay? I think it would be a big plus.

Our software is more then just an auction site so I do not think it will ever be the same or do we strive to be ebay. That is a custom coded application for there site and some of the functionality they have would be hard to do in an application such as ours that needs to be compatible with all servers.

I guess its okay although I dont see how there ad display is like alot more impressive than ours. What is it you like about there's here is what I show in 2.6

Just in general I like their better layout. It looks a lot like eBay so users can relate to it much better.

You can see the sample I have setup at www.aacircle.com.au/expat. It's not populated yet, but has a very impressive and clean look.

I will need to make up my decision within a few months.
