Convert

Hi,
Let's say I'm looking to merge three forums into one. Each of the forums has vBGallery. I'm thinking about upgrading to Pro. What is converting three separate vBGallery installations into one Pro going to look like?
Thanks

Probally the same as you converting 3 vbgalleries into 1 vbgallery

There is no automated script to do something like this so you have lots of work to do by hand in anycase.

Would it be easier to convert them into a single vBGallery then?

It is not going to be easy no matter what you do. Take for example this info

in all your vbgallery installs you have categories photos etc and they are all going to have the same category id's photo id's etc. You need to devise a plan to overcome this. Not much you can do other than sit down and write up some fancy import script.

Might be easier to just manually upload them again. Only talking 2,000 images total here. Is there any admin function in either program where I as admin can upload an image and assign it to a member's gallery? So it would look like the member uploaded it instead of me?

There is a box on upload page that lets you specify another username to upload as that user when your an admin

Is that in vBGallery or Pro? Or both?
