Upgrade Service

Hi,

I've fallen behind with my PhotoPost and ReviewPost installs - currently at 4.8.2 and 3.1 respectively.

I'm interested in the upgrade service - $49 seems a good price for this.

But I had a couple of questions before placing an order...

I'm based in the UK - is it possible to arrange a mutually-compatible time for the upgrade, so that I'm around when it happens?

Does the upgrade include a database backup and current install backup, just in case the worst happens?

Is it possible to retain the current look and feel of the current installs?

Hello

Yes you may maintain the current look. As far as a mutually agreeable time that would all depend on the time of day you are talking. You may discuss that with the installer.

What about the database backup and current install backup?

If given proper access we can backup the database but usually database backups should be part of your normal site maintenance and you should have these handy as a general rule

Hi Chuck,

Yes, we have a scheduled daily backup, but depending on when the upgrade is done, it could be many hours out of date (and therefore we would lose user data if we had to restore the database).

We can provide whatever access you need to do the job :-)
