You set a category as a contest category and users can upload images. You can start/stop/reset voting at any time and users have the option of picking one image to place their vote with. When you close the voting, the thumbnails are ordered by those with the most votes.

You can start stop or reset voting when logged in as admin viewing the actual category there is a vote admin panel showing that enables you to do all that.

Hi,

Just tried this by changing one of my categories into contest mode, voted one photo, and then selected End Voting. When I hit refresh, it didn't show the photo I voted as the first photo. Also, how do I view how many votes each photo has, or is this hidden?

It definately sorts them by most votes when I try this. This is what happens when you hit end voting. That query ends the contest and changes the category sort order.

Hello,

I wonder if it's because there's only one vote casted. I'll try to run an actual contest to see how it goes. BTW, where can I view the current vote counts?

There is nowhere to view vote count results in some ordered format other than when voting is closed you look at a cat. Now after voting you can see votes on the contest can you not?

Nope. I can't see the number of votes each photo gets. Where can I see this?

For some reason it's not viewable on my forum. Not sure why. Here's an attachment of the screen capture.
