Switching from vB Gallery to Photopost

Hello there!

Currently, I'm using vB Gallery on my vBulletin Forums, but I'm unhappy with some features of this software. I'd like to switch to Photopost Gallery, but there are some questions:

1) Can I import my vB Gallery Data into Photopost? I already have 3,200 Pictures in my system and I don't want to lose them.

2) My users make extensive use of the "user gallery" feature of vB Gallery. When switching to Photopost, will these ownership settings of the user sub-galleries be preserved?

3) The bigest disadvantage of vB Gallery is that you cannot move a picture from one gallery to another. Will this be possible with Photopost?

4) Is it possible to buy a "used" license which was purchased by another customer in January and move it into my own customer account, thus making me the legal and only owner of this license?

Thanks in advance! :)

Yes there is an importer in the import forum for photopost. I have ran it on sites up to 385,000 photos

Yes any category that is set as the member category would be rewritten to category 500 in Photopost which is the member gallery

You can move photos from one cat to another. To my knowledge you can do it with vbgallery as well

Sorry licensing regulations state that licenses are none sellable or transferable to other people. You must purchase your own copy should you decide to run Photopost.

Hi. Can I do a new concurrent/parallel installation of PhotoPost Pro next to my existing vBGallery install? I'd like to make sure that it has all imported properly into PhotoPost and it's working correctly before I make the new gallery public and permanent.

Thanks!

Sy
