About VideoGallery

Hello

I'm planning to use photopost with a video website but i'm not sure it is going to be a good ..

i mean i need to allow a user to be Able to upload a video file .. and then it will creat auto Screenshot for each video i heard that Mplayer or FFmpeg can do this job .. can photopost creat the screenshot for the Video file auto or what ?

No, PhotoPost does not have the ability to create autothumbnails for a video. Read this thread...

Oki Thankyou ... so photopost dose not support it .. well i will wait or may be looking for someone to code a custom script..!

Our program does not create video thumbnails from the uploaded video that would be correct.

The main obstical for this kind of functinality is a cross-platform thumbnail generator; I've heard of an open source project for one (ffmpeg, i think), but was never able to install and get it to work on my systems.

I find someone who asking me to make a custom hack for photopost to creat auto thumbnail but he was asking for $250 just for this hack .. and i will need ffmpeg installing .. i can't offer paying $250 for this hack and then $129 for photopost .. i hope just the PP team add this feature and i'm ready to buy this product..

While PhotoPost is a pretty decent gallery, you may want to consider Gallery 2 which does support video/video thumbnail creation right out of the box:
