You would need to import your users into vbulletin

Want to go from standalone to Vbulletin in Photopost?

Then you can do the steps outlined here

1. Do your forum stuff that has nothing to do with our product imports etc

2. Edit the settings table of Photopost settings 41,83,171-173 and set to the proper integration type forum mysql table prefix and cookie settings.

3. Edit your config-inc.php file of Photopost and enter in user database the proper vbulletin mysql info and the proper vbulletin license in the $vblicense variable line.

4. In your usergroups table of Photopost delete all entries except Administrators where that one you want to edit it and change the groupid from 2 to 6

You should then be able to login with your vbulletin admin and import usergroups and set the enhanced vb3 integration stuf

I've had Photopost set up and working well for about two months. Now I've set up vBulletin and imported all my phpbb2 info. with no problem. Will the above work for now integrating with Photopost? If so, are there detailed instructions for editing the settings and what they should be? (I'm clueless when it comes to php and all!)

My gallery is http://www.liddysloft.com/photopost/index.php
My new vBulletin is http://www.liddysloft.com/forums/index.php

Thanks so much!

You dont need to do the above with Photopost. You can do a search on switching integrations and that is what you would need to do to realign photopost

changing BBS need advice

You would then need to run this script to fix the userid issue that happens when you use vbulletins impex script to import other forums. There script changes users userids

Reassign userid's when switching integrations to VBulletin

You overwrote your config file Issue is not related to this thread. Just edit the config-inc.php file with the proper server path to photopost and database info and you should be fine
