Why photopost or vbGallery instead of Coppermine

I'm not very familiar with Coppermine - are you talking about as a stand alone application or one integrated with a specific forum?

Right, but my question is are you asking me to compare PhotoPost as a stand-along product or as a product that integrates with a specific forum? Because while Coppermine is a stand-alone application with bridges to forums, we actually have all of these built-in to our product and depending on how you use it there may be additional features.

Yes, I am comparing Coppermine VS your products as stand-alone applications, without think in integrate with some forum

Then I am questioning.. Why vBgallery or Photopost?

I dont think to integrate it with some forum

In the case of vBgallery I would buy vBulletin

Well, as I have said, I'm not very familiar with Coppermine; in fact, I haven't seen a Coppermine site in years that I can recall. We do have a comprehensive list of our features:

For years PhotoPost has innovated many features duplicated by other gallery products - our newest items include a user configurable layout option, and IPS (Image Protection System) which can be used to move original images out of the web directory and many other features that are unique to PhotoPost.

Maybe someone with more experience with Coppermine can chime in.
