The only program I installed as a table in the smf db is FlashChat123. Prior to that, I had no broblem bridging mia cms (mambo... not joomla) and coppermine to it. Then, this problem bridgng PP with the smf db ocurred.

I can access all the dbs through admin as normal, including the smf db.

After installing FlashChat in the db and running the bridge, but prior to the failed PP bridge, I was looking through the db files for some specific info and came across 2 items in 2 different files which werer marked with a warning symbol. One was an item with the designation of "PRIMARY" in it and the other, "BOT". The warning stated that both had priorities set to "1" and I needed to change one of them. I don't know anything about it so I let it be. I ran the php "Fix database" option and was able to contnue all other activity across all bridged programs with no errors or issues, which gave no indication of a problem... until tring to run the PP to smf bridge. Now you know as much about it as I do.

I Have a mambo cms. It was mambo core team created under the MIA cms name: v4.6.5 ... not JOOMLA. All mods and hacks and add-ons I have dowloaded or manually installed were from source code created for mambo, not Joomla.

Here's and excerpt from the readme file:

"MiaCMS is a fork of the Mambo CMS. MiaCMS project is initiated by who are profoundly familiar with
Mambo; former project lead/board member, former Mambo Steering Committee Members, former
Core Team Leads/Developers... Much of the same crew that built Mambo 4.5.3+ through 4.6.3 are here now continuing development on the same award winning software base... "

smf v1.1.7 bridged to mia cms (mambo) using the mambo, not Joomla, bridge. Like I said, it's mambo.

I will not attempt screwing with the smf db without expert help. Are you offering? I don't expect so since this isn't your responsibility. Thus, the workaround. So, If PP can be bridged to the mambo db, I can take the time to attempt to fix the db issue carefully, and if I want to bridge PP to smf later, I can.

Is this sufficient information to make some progress?

- Mark

Mark Photopost pro integrates with SMF and its members database. As long as your smf has all its normal smf tables photopost will integrate fine with it.

I think I have asked a few times for information to see what you mean you cant connect to SMF database but as of yet we have recieved no information.

Since PhotoPost reputedly integrates well with smf and the issue is with smf, it is beyond the scope of your responsibility to provide any more assistance.

I will go through smf to resolve the issue, try again, and post the results.

Yes we do integrate with SMF

If you feel like posting the exact issues we can assist you. The only issue I have ever seen is you cant connect to the database.
