I just have a quick and probably stupid question I currently have a free gallery installed on my forums (that I found on vbulletin.org). It is showing that on the main index of the gallery where it shows the categories and thumbs, it's pulling like 160 queries and on each page under each category where you're just viewing thumbs of pics, it's still pulling 100 queries

I'm not asking for support on the gallery I have currently but I would like to know if this is a normal amount of queries for galleries? If I went with Photo Post, would it be in the same ballpark area of queries pulled? 100-160 just seems like a LOT. I don't even have that many catgories or pics uploaded.

I guess I am just wondering if photo post pulls the same amount, on average? I'm not sure if you can see my gallery as a guest (I think you probably can though) but here's the link www.forum.militarysos.com/gallery

Well logged in as admin runs a couple extra queries than a normal user but here is an example of my index page showphoto and showgallery pages with queries and timing in PhotoPost

Oh wow. Thats much different than what I am currently getting. I knew 160 queries seemed a little bit high Looks like you have yourself a new customer. Thanks

I think I got 22 Max on any page. (all hacked up)

I think 20 or 21 is max on any of my pages also and I've got all sorts of hacks installed, including the estore and points with gifts and add on's, p3tz, arcade, etc, etc. And I knew 160 was ooouuuch. I only had a few categories and FOUR thumbs showing also. So, it's not like I had a massive amount of things going on.

I just paid for my photo post license and I'm anxious to get it going! YAY!
