terms and conditions

in your terms and conditions it says
Quote:
A ReviewPost license grants you the right to run one instance (a single installation) of ReviewPost on one web server and one web site for each license purchased, for an unlimited time.

now how is it possible for someone to buy a licence and then sell it to someone else , is that allowed , also what is your view on someone who buys half a licence with someone else and then sells it to someone else with out contacting the other owner , i thought that if it is only to be used on one server and domain that you wouldnt allow that licence to be sold , although i have contacted your team about this i do find it strange that a person posts on this site for support when i own half the licence and never gave permission for the half i paid for to be sold and because it clearly states that its only allowed on one server

but if you could clear this up for me because i find it confusing and conflicting
thank you

disturbed

Hello in our license agreements is this clause.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Ownership of the license is clearly in whatever name was used to purchased the license. If your friend bought a license he would own it legally. Whatever deal was made between you two you would need to take that up with him. There is no transfer of ownership on a PhotoPost license so the owner of the license can not sell it to someone else. If you have cause to beleive an owner of a PhotoPost license has violated his license you may report the site and owner to us at sales@photopost.com and our legal team will investigate the validity of this matter

Thank You.

thank you for your reply

i have contacted your sales team about the licence in question , and they are dealing with that issue , i did however see this person post on here by looking at his profile and reading all posts made by him , obviously as they are private your not allowed post a reply , but the reason i asked this question was because this person had said there was an arrangement made with your staff and him for the sale of the licence ,

again thank you for your reply its appreatited

Yep our sales team will be able to get to the bottom of things and determine whom actually owns the license.

Hello

Demented you would need to handle any issues you have with this license to sales on this matter. As I have stated in this thread to please keep all correspondence out of the forums. You and this other parties disagreement is a private matter and ownership of said license can be handled by emailing sales@photopost.com just as disturbed has done.
