Pricing, Release and Other General Q's.

G'day, I've been looking through threads till I went googly eyed( If it aint a word it is now), anyhow I was planning on buying VBAGallery, and I saved my pennies and went to buy to find the site down and when it comes up this is all happening.

Anyhow to the Questions:

How much will VB Photopost cost?
When will I be able to buy it?
Is it compatible with VB 3.5.1?
Does it use Hooks and such so as it install straight from the AdminCP plus file uploads ofcourse..?
If the answer to the last is no, will it be added into the program soon?

I think thats it, hopefully I will become a satisfied member soon.

BC.

1) PhotoPost vBGallery will be the same price as before - $69
2) It should be available for purchase shortly; we've been merging the two customer databases and integrating support. I'd like to think later today, if possible.
3) Yes, it is.
4) No, it does not (yet).
5) Yes, it will - it is one of the planned updates.

Cheers.

Will do! :)

ConqSoft November 22nd, 2005 08:55 AM

I thought it was $59, not $69, before it was "acquired"?

Michael P November 22nd, 2005 08:56 AM

I was under the impression it was $69, so if I was incorrect, I misspoke; I don't set the pricing and only posted what I thought the price was.

ConqSoft November 22nd, 2005 08:58 AM

I can't find my original receipt at the moment, but I was thinking it was a cool $100 for the Gallery + Branding Free. (And I know Branding Free was $39.99.)

Black Cobra November 22nd, 2005 09:00 AM

I think it might have been as well as I was working off $60 US and coverting it to Aussie Dollars.

Michael P November 22nd, 2005 09:00 AM

I was under the impression the price had been raised at some point, but feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Another Question I do have:

Is there a renewal fee or do I have to pay the 59/69 dollars again?

ConqSoft November 22nd, 2005 09:05 AM

It could have changed at some point, but I have found evidence that it was $59 up until at least June of this year.

The old yearly renewal fee for Gallery was $19.99/year. That may or may not stay the same.

Michael P November 22nd, 2005 09:07 AM

The renewal fee only applies for the yearly maintaince agreement; but we have offered existing customers a one year extension on their current agreements.

I will try to verify the pricing, if it was $59, then it will be $59.

Is I am definitly not going to display a powered by ******* PhotoPost copyright notice, what about the branding free option for vBAdvanced Gallery - is this also 99$?
If yes, you've just lost another customer.

The vBGallery prices have not been listed on our sales page yet.

Only licenses and forum posts have been transfered. Everything else is being worked on.

Yes, you can purchase the branding free option - the prices to be set shortly.

moonclamp November 22nd, 2005 03:30 PM

I paid $59.99 for the licence and $39.99 for the branding free option.

The reason I chose this software over photopost was the price of the branding free option.
