| Merge Photopost and vBa Gallery account
I created a new account on this forum after I found out about the acquisition of vBa Gallery. Apparently my vBa account has been imported to this forum too because whenever I try to change my email address to the one I had over there it says it already exists. Problem is that any email from this forum don't arrive in my box for some odd reason. I was wondering if the imported account could be merged into this account.

Thanks

If the accounts shared the same email account, then they were automatically merged. If they were different I would need to know both usernames to perform the merge manaully. You can PM me the info.

vBGallery license information is being transferred and is currently not completed. Once that has been completed we will notify members.

So you guys are merging things? I'm just curious. How the members area access will work for those who had one previously.

This "imported_" prefix took a lot of figuring out & searching to find my old posts after not receiving any email warning to match account addresses!
Lets call it my fault for not keeping my photopost.com email active when I shifted product though shall we...

I am a moderator not an admin on this site.
Moderator does not have permissions to change anything with the user's account on the forum.

- FAQ's
- Smiles
- Forum editing
- etc .....
vBulletin allows limited access to members in the AdminCP. (set by SYSOP)
- The draw back of the system is your an "Administrator" in name if you need to access the site's AdminCP operations.
I was thinking of attacking that some day - well some year .... its on the back burner |

yup - I understand all that
Just unexpected that any listed admin don't deal with member support issues as the main site I work with uses a hidden administrator group for folk needing to tinker with admincp bits but not suffer endless member requests!
Sometimes [strike]my second home[/strike] altnation.com is so familiar to me I forget that we aren't default set-up!
(and yes I purposely left in the non-standard [strike] tags to prove my point )
** oh and thanks to Michael P for getting me all nice & merged.

Actually I was changed to Admin and was not told so I did not know it
I was still under the assumption I was a mod and my permissions reflected that although they had to go back and set my admin permissions and everything is cool.
