PP and vBadvanced Gallery

If I purchase vBadvanced Gallery and install it but keep it inactive can I still have my PP gallery up and running intil I decided on which one I want to go with?

What I am trying to say is I want to keep my PP gallery active. But I also want to install vBadvanced Gallery right now. Can I have them both up and running at the same time. I know I probably can only have one active at a time and I plan on leaving vBadvanced Gallery inactive except for just me to mess around with. Can I do that?
