Directory structure and album options!?

Ok i'm new here and would really like to buy your Gallery script but i have to know if the following is possible:

For directory structure:

- Year (f.e. 1990)
- Event + Date (user has to be able to insert a event name and select a date when the event took place, dropbox date? something like that)
- Then in this directory it must me possible for every user to post an complete photoalbum of there own about the specific event+date

It has got to be possible for every user to add photos to there own albums that they made in the different directories.

So to give an example

User 1 wants to post "Holiday - 1997 - April 19", when the user start a new thread(album) he has to first select a Year (system produces a Thread with just the year 1997), then the user has two fields he has to submit to:
- Field 1: Eventname (Holiday)
- Field 2: Date(April 19)
After this the user has the ability to make yet another thread(album) to post this album(pictures) in.

The threads stay intact after this, and when some other user or the same user want to post more pictures of his holiday on April the 19th he has to be able to add them in that specific thread.

I really hope i've been a little bit clear i'm sorry for my pore english.


So my question is, is this possible with the version available right now? Or is there maybe an hack that gives me these options?

Sorry, but currently there are not any options to do what you are requesting.

It seems like you're looking for somewhat of a calendar type interface (for lack of a better way to describe it) with the categories. Something like this could be done and probably wouldn't be too hard if you are pretty familiar with PHP, but there aren't any standard features that will do something like what you're describing.
