hotlinking on same site
I searched right quick, didn't find anything.

Is it possible for my own users to hotlink to they're own images if I have htaccess on? Or will it block hotlinking no matter what?

The hotlinking option will not block the images on your domian. If you want to block these though it wouldn't be very hard to change the .htaccess file if you set your gallery up on a subdomain.
