All uploads also viewable in member category (?!)

I'm worried I made a bad purchase decision with vBGallery. I was under the impression that it was possible to do the following

If I, as admin, created a category, I wanted any uploads a user makes to that category to also be visible from within the member's category for that user.. Is that not possible?

Actually I started on that a little while ago when someone else was asking about it, but for some reason I never posted it. Luckily I still had all of the work done on my localhost though.
