Gallery in the forum...
 

Hi, I've been reading about this and I'm really interested in getting Gallery.

My question is is it possible to say have a forum on the forum index using gallery...meaning if you click on a forum named say movies you can start a thread in that forum and have the media embeded in the post there? (instead of going into the gallery and making a post)

I want my members to be able to post movie trailers and music clips in some of the forums and this would be great if it was able to do that.

There's not really a way to do what you're describing, though the gallery does include options to display direct link codes so your users can easily copy the codes and past them in their posts. I believe there is also a hack available that makes it very easy to select an image or other file from your gallery to post in your forums.

So say I make a BB code fr say mp3 in my forums and a member uploads to the gallery and gets the link code could they then use that code and wrap the [mp3] Bb codes around it so it would play in the forums?
