images per row

i noticed that in the gallery and all vBA galleries i've seen users have used the default setting of three images per row, it is it at all possible to set it use four images per row?

That's a setting in the Gallery AdminCP. You can set it to whatever you like... I use 4.

Sure.

In the ACP you'll find an option named Browse Category Options. From there you can specify the number of images per page and also the number of columns to display. The default is 3 and I think most people go with the default because the default thumbnail size is 150px; having more than three 150px thumbs could cause some problems with 800x600 visitors depending upon the style, etcetra.
