upgrading vB

i am using vBadvanced CMPS right now and i love it. i have 2 questions regarding the gallery and links scripts.

1. when you upgrade vb, will you also have to re-install the gallery and links (just like with the CMPS)?
2. is the admin stand alone or integrated into the vb's forum admin?

thanks. i am looking forward to switching from PP and my current Links script to this one

Re: upgrading vB

You don't reinstall the whole thing, just the templates (and/or phrases) depending on vB's mood =)
The admin is integrated.

one more question. i upgraded vb today to 3.0.7 and making the changes to the CMPS was super simple. can i expect the same with the gallery and links?

Re: upgrading vB

I haven't upgraded yet to 307 but when I upgraded to 306, it was that simple.
I had a few minor problems because I changed almost all my gallery templates.

Maybe some early updaters can give you a better answer =) I'm just patching for now.

Re: upgrading vB

I installed it on 3.0.6. Worked as expected. Used my version control system to upgrade to 3.0.7. I had to make no changes to any files (but you would probably have to rehack a few files).

I then had to run the install script again to reinstall the templates.

All sweet
