Annual fee?

I was reading over the agreement and noticed this:

Quote:
Your license grants you access to the members area where you may download newer versions of the software for one year from the date of purchase. After your license has expired, you may continue to use the last version of the software that was available to you, or purchase another license to have access to the latest version.
Now I may have misunderstood this, but from my understanding, this will cost $59 (unless price changes) every year to run the most current version?

Is this going to change at all? I was thinking it would be something like $20.00 a year for membership access, or something.. Buying a new license does seem a bit questionable?

Would that also grant me to have more than one license that I can run?

Sorry if I'm coming off as "greedy" in any way, I'm not meaning to.
Thanks,

Re: Annual fee?

Renewal of Member Area access is only $19.99/year.

Re: Annual fee?

Okay, that's what I was thinking/hopeful for..
What does the above quote reffer to then? Does the license expire after one year, or is it a lifetime license?

Sorry, just a little confused.

Re: Annual fee?

You own it forever. After the first year, you have to pay $19.99/year to keep getting the most recent version.

Re: Annual fee?

Okay, thank you. I will have my order placed in just a few minutes.
Not even five minutes passed and I had my answer. MUCH better than the photo software I'm currently using..

Thanks, Conq.

Re: Annual fee?

I don't work here, but this question has been asked before.
