Copyright and Licensure

I can't yet post in the Suggestions forum, so I'll put this here.

Has there been any consideration into adding the option for the person posting an image to select from a sole copyright statement or Creative Commons License when adding an image?

I suspect this could be done easily enough with custom fields, but Creative Commons integration would be something unique...

Interesting. If Brian goes for it he'd probably want to check out http://creativecommons.org/technology/ to see if there is anything available for him to use to hook it into Gallery.

Haven't thought about anything like that. I'll look into it some more when I have some free time.
