QuickTime Movie support?

In the Admin CP demo, I saw support for a bunch of media file formats, but not QuickTime movies (.mov). So...did I miss something, or is there no way to post QuickTime videos to VB Gallery?
If not, can you add that feature sometime soon? QuickTime movies are a major file format for videos these days. Thanks!

k2director,

You can add new file types by choosing ACP --> vBa Gallery --> Edit Filetypes --> Add Filetype.

Re: QuickTime Movie support?

I thought I added .mov files as default, but apparently not. As Kevin said though, you can easily add your own file types.

Re: QuickTime Movie support?

In RC4, its not there. After adding the file type(20 megs max size, I get the following error:

Your image is too large. The maximum dimensions for this type of image in this category are 0 x 0.

You need to set the maximum dimensions for .mov files.

Re: QuickTime Movie support?

Why do mov files need this? All the other video files dont.

Re: QuickTime Movie support?

Because they have a width & height embeded within the file, while most other video formats won't.
