You did, and I thank you.

I tried everything I could think of to fix that for many months and finally gave up and left it looking horrible like it was. Several of my users pointed out how strange that one looked and I replied that I was doing everything I could to fix it.

Today I have deleted my classifieds post installation and by doing so this problem is solved.

Michael P, I have read many posts from you stating support is improving, and I sincerely hope that it is. But when I read that only .8% of your customers have had issues I know that number just doesn't jibe with me or any of the customers I know.

I believe there is a real hesitance to admit just how bad support has been here and I can site you several instances myself. My biggest concern is when numbers such as .8% are spouted off, I believe the admins are terribly out of touch with exactly how many people have left because of support. If the view of the admins is nothing is wrong with support, then we can rest assured nothing will be done to fix what isn't broken.

Michael, you have always been the tops of the support around here and many of us really appreciate your effort. But if you feel that so many of us do not have a legitimate issue with the quality and lack of support then we know the policies and procedures of providing support will not change and the support will never improve.

I wouldn't be so dismissive of the outpouring of concern; I have been actively involved in trying to make up for alot of my own mistakes. Call it maturity if you will; the transition from arrogant programmer to take-it-on-the-chin-and-smile-support-guy wasn't easy and along the way that made for some bad blood. All those comments about their developer being a jerk, yeah, that's me and I regret alot of what I said back then.

Hopefully the patience I've learned by having so many daughters will payoff for everyone; myself included.

Have a great holiday and should you choose to try Classifieds again, PM me if you need some help. I built Classifieds for my ViperAlley.Com website and only distributed it because people asked. I can't say that the same will happen for the BLOG version I did for my ExtremeFitness.Com site.

Well, I guess this is where I can voice my concerns. I own and operate 3 sites which use (or have used) Photopost (I own 6 licenses - 3 PP and 3 PPC). I had made the decision recently to go in a different direction and chose vBaGallery. I liked the fact that the code was written similar to vB and the potential for more customizing for a tighter vB integration was possible. vBulletin has a huge "hacking" crowd and Photopost doesn't. I was hoping to move to a script that had more people involved in customizations - vBaG fit the bill. Now, it's owned by the same company I was moving away from. Hopefully we get the same support for hacks and customizations that Brian offered before the acquisition. That was a huge selling point for me personally. If we lose that, or, if the way the code is written is changed to reflect the Photopost codebase, I'll have to find yet another script to turn to. These two things are what made vBaGallery worth dropping Photopost.

I'm also in a unique situation - I had only purchased 1 of the 3 licenses I needed to start transferring our sites over to vBaG. At this point in time, I am not able to purchase the other 2 vBaG licenses, and I'm afraid that the new vBaGallery license fee is going to jump up due to nothing else than the new ownership - and I know everyone else is concerned about this too. vBaGallery was half the price of Photopost and did some things much better. Will the same version I purchased be available for the same price? And if not, since AEN now owns this script, can I just transfer my existing PP licenses over to vBaG licenses?

As has been said in many threads asking about the pricing, the price will remain the same as before. We expect to have the sale pages ready to sell new licenses later this week - it's part of a new site redesign that will be in place shortly.

I don't have any information about the transfering of licenses between products; I believe they are two seperate purchases and not transferrable, but will check.

Ludachris,

For the hacks & customizations, bearing in mind that they were (at vBa) offered and still are offered (at PP) as unofficial changes then myself, Zachariah (HarryButt at vBa) and TrackPads are doing what we can to keep that spirit alive.

For the codebase, you'll need to follow-up with Michael P on that one.
