One ReviewPost install shared by 2 VB forums?

I have two sites w/ different domain names. Both sites are located physically on the same server though. Each site has its own VB forum and it's own VB forum database.

What I'd like to do is install ReviewPost on one of these servers but have it be able to let a user log in from either site and post a review. Is this possible?

If so, do I have to configure all of this up front when I install or can I start with one site and add the other later?

Tempted to let you guys do this setup for me...

Hello No that would not be possible without two licenses of Reviewpost just like you have separate Vb installs you would need separate Reviewpost installs one tied to each vbulletin

I dont' have a problem with purchasing two licenses to do this, but I'm more curious and want to know if I can have members from two separate VB forums login (using the same login they use in their VB forum) and add their reviews to this single, shared ReviewPost install.

It's an idea I've had and want, but this post sounds like it's possible:
2 vbulletin sites, 2 reviewpost installs, 1 database?

No it can not be done as I stated.

Your VB has two separate databases with different users. There is no way to have reviewpost look at two user databases you can only attach to one.

Okay, it sounds like this is not do-able. But, just curious... what was the user trying to do in the post I linked above? Sounds like the same thing and you and another developer were giving advice. I thought I was on the right track.

Right but read his thread

2 VBULLETINS 2 REVIEWPOST 1 DATABASE.

Yes as long as things are in 1 database it is cool

You have two separate databases for vbulletin.

what about this...

If my ultimate goal is to have one ReviewPost shared by both VB sites, what about the option of installing ReviewPost w/out any VB integration at all? Then, I just point both sites to this one install and they'd have to create a new login for that in order to post a review, correct?

Does this sound like a decent work-around or are there others you might suggest?

Thanks, Chuck.

That would work yes.

The issue the other way is we can't access two separate user databases
