About the (CONTEST FEATURE)
 

"contest" feature which allows a category to be tagged as being a contest which instead of rating images people can vote on (one vote per member). When the contest is ended, the photos are sorted by those with the most votes.

Will the contest feature work with other multimedia like music and video files.

I am thinking this could be the solution for UltimateIdol.com an online version of American Idol.

When I tag a catagory as being a contest can I

1. Create a new catagory and choose specific users and their multimedia like mp3's of them singing or videos of them singing for other users to vote on.

Could the Contest Feature work like that?

Yes, you can vote for any type of file uploaded that is acceptible to the gallery.

As for how the items get into the category: you would either have to move the files (or copy them) into the contest category or you would have your users upload them.
