Where can I find the files?

| You would need to purchase the program to grab the files however the post your quoting is very old we do not offer free licenses for language translations anymore. We offer one year members extention to download updates to the code. |

| Hi Tums
it is relatively easy. 99% is in one php file. around 1% is still hardcoded in several files (same situation in classifieds, photopost pro and reviewpost).
It seems to me that the language files are very similar to all 3 (Chuck please correct me if I am wrong). I would guess 90% overlapping. Tere are some other small language files in the folder "English", but as far as I remember, I never needed to translate them in another language.
Sometimes you just have to exchange between those 3 the word "photo" or "image" with the word "ad" or "review" etc.
If you do the italian language file for all 3, I would pay you a small bonus i.e 20 USD with paypal.
For me it is important, that once I "detect" a hardcoded word weeks later, that I can send it to you and you translate it also later.
To give you an impression how easy this is, see attached a language file in English.
Please send me an PM or post here, if you want to do it. If others want to have an italian language file too, they shall pay also the equal amount, so it is getting more and more attractive for you. |

Let's say I'll make it for free if you're not in a hurry. And then, once I've purchased PhotoPost, you eventually help me if I need it to set it up correctly.

| Snoopy actually in reviewpost and classifieds there are subfolders with individual language files to load for alternate templates to override the main language file so its slightly different and there are two main files english.php and emails.php for main language strings unlike photopost which is all in one file. Our other two products support and have multiple template types so there is a need for alternate language string settings. |

| You can do that in reviewpost and classifieds not photopost
The prefered method is to make your own language file based on our language file and drop it is in the languages directory. |

How would i do that? can you explain a little bit further?
I intend to translate it to Japanese, which uses two bite character encoding, so things often go wrong.
WHat about photo post vbGallery?
Good thing i chekced this thread. I was literally one click away from finishing my purchase. |

| The language strings are in one file called say english.php
If you want to translate it to japanese you just clone that file into say a new file japanese.php and translate the strings to japanese and change the $charset line to the correct encoding and upload it to the languages directory and then in your config set the language to japanese |
