Video Streaming and downloading

I will like to know if photopost allows users to stream video directly from the site, will this happen automatically once you click on the thumbnail? Are there an option to let the visitor play the video when he wants? Is obvious that the option to download the video is available but could it be available also if streaming is allowed in photopost?

I don't know if I'm asking too much but will photopost create an automatic thumbnail from a video clip or I will always have to create one for the video?. Thanks.

Hello

1. Yes photopost allows for streaming video.

2. You would need to create a thumbnail for the video as no way has been found to extract a specific frame from a video file.

A thumbnail generator would be a nice feature, but what I do now is use Picassa 2 (locally). It will generate a thumbnail of the video's first frame (albeit with a filmstrip icon in the corner).

Hi Chuck,

Does PhotoPost stream video files that are not streaming video files like mpg and other non-streaming formats?

Thank you,

Khashyar

Photopost loads associated templates which load the associated players so the multimedia files are played inline on the showphoto page

Thanks Chuck...

So, you are saying that when a PP user looks at a video clip in PP, that he/she does NOT have to wait to download the entire file before watching it?

Or, can they watch the video file in sections as it downloads?
