| Possible to allow thumbnail hotlinking, but not medium or full size?
1. I am thinking of buying a 2nd copy of photopost but I am interested in this feature for the 2nd site.
I want to be able to allow people to hotlink to thumbnails, but not the medium or full sizes. Can this be done with a htaccess file or would a special mod need to be made so that it would put the thumbnails in a seperate directory than the medium and full sizes?
2. Also, how long will the sale of getting photopost for $129.00 last?
3. If I tie the registeration into an older version of a forum and then I upgrade my forum software, how easy/hard is it going to be to transfer the registration system so that the registration still works for my gallery even though it will be accessing the database of a newer forum?
4. Is it possible to switch the registration system from a forum to internally handled by Photopost or visa-versa during mid-use and not make everybody re-register?
Thanks for any help you can give.

1. Not really possible I would say. htaccess would lock down all the files.
2. Till the bigman raises the price no date planned that I know of.
3. You for instance run invisionboard and upgrade to invisionboard 2 you just need to switch integration from ib to ib2 much like vb2 to vb3
4. switching integration types is not suggested since usually it means alot of work to get things working right as in writing a script to import the users to a forum or vice versa to photopost table.

OK, I believe this is my last question.
Would it be possible to make it so that instead of images, Photopost worked with uploaded movie files like .mov, .wmv, etc. but not just uploading, but being able to have the thumbnail not a standard movie icon thumbnail, but be able to upload a thumbnail of the video, but it was just the thumbnail and if it were clicked on it would start playing the video in the browser. I doubt it can do something like this "out of the box" but do you think a mod is capable of doing something like that? How much would it be if I wanted something like that done? I remember a while back that the Photopost team said they were capable and willing to create mods for their products.

photopost 4.8.6 plays video in the showphoto page.
You can upload a thumbnail image of the video if you have one but the thumbnail can not be a multimedia file it has to be an image file.
this has been a feature of Photopost for along time
