If you are an Albinator or Coppermine user looking to switch to PhotoPost, we have a conversion service that you can use to perform an upgrade. This service is available by contacting Omegatron and pricing will vary depending on the site of your installation.

Is there anyone else that does these upgrades? Chuck sent me a contract, but when I asked a question, he hasn't replied to my emails (3 over a few weeks). I'm not sure if he's just busy, or not interested anymore, but I still have a need, and it doesn't seem like he's going to fill it. |

Weird Indeed. It has to be something about what email your sending from must have issues with comcast or something. The photopost one dumps to my comcast email.
I still have no emails from you. Just PM me with the question you had since you seem unable to email me.
Or try sending from another email than the one your using.

Please help me to get in contact with a person who can do this. Thank you very much.

You merely need to download the coppermine importer from our import forum and run it. This is an extremely old post way before we released publically available import scripts

Chuck-
Another longtime CPG user running CPG bridged to phpBB on several sites. We are so sick of CPG and their attitude that we are more than happy to purchase gallery software that integrates with phpBB. I see that phpBB3 support is not there yet and we do want that, as we are migrating all our sites to it ultimately, but not immediately -- we want a final RC before committing but have already converted on some backup sites to sniff things out.
Also we are of course very interested in CPG migration for any product we are considering. I took a look at your importer and really only have one question -- is the importer a completely non-destructive process so we can evaluate it with minimal pain?
Also is there a trial version of PP we can try with the imported for evaluation purposes? I tried using the "admin demo" but it doesn;t seem to work -- I'd love to be able to get a few for the functions available and templating subsystems etc.
One final question -- can PP support an album of podcasts?
Thanks,
TheKog

When we support phpbb3 we will announce that. I can not say when that will be as I go on vacation in one week. I only have one issue left with the integration before we can support it but can not say it will be done before I leave for 10 days.
The importer is completely non destructive to your working coppermine
There is no trial of our software but I will see what I can do about getting the webmaster to get the admin demo up
You would need to explain more what you mean by support for an album of podcasts. Photopost supports image uploads and multimedia uploads.

I would not think so as you would probally have to write an importer or modify the coppermine importer we have as ours is written for coppermine not xcgallery.
