Email SMTP Authentication

Our server requires SMTP authentication to send mail. I did not see this in your photopost classifieds admin demo. Is this a problem or can it be added or will it be in your next release? I use phpBB and it has this option.

We use the standard PHP SMTP mail() call; in over four years we've never had a request for this, but we might consider it for a future update.

People who use newer email server will have this problem when the new spam laws will take affect next year. So, for a current fix, the code would have to be modded?

Since PHP doesn't include this functionality in their language, you would need to integrate a third-party emailer class/script into PhotoPost.
