How much of this has been implemented within the latest version of pp_classifieds? There is an admin option setting to "Enable Zip Code Integration", but nothing else I can find about what else I need to do after that step.
I read over your mod install notes, but I am assuming that this is for an older version of the program.

I assume the current installation instructions are going to be somewhere in the middle as he has added alot of the modification into the current build and there is even an empty zipcode database

Someone has provided me with a public domain zip code database that I'll be posting up shortly with instructions on how to implement. With Classifieds 2.0, its just a switch, but you need to populate the database with your own data. Previously the only data I had was from a commercial program which required a purchase.

Also, do you happen to know where the source of your database was (I'd really like to go and scout around--I'm looking for public domain zip, lat & long data, if I can find it--although I am finding it for sale pretty cheap, I don't have much money
