When available, show avatars? Yes/No
Does this mean it will show the users avatar if they have one set? What does that mean?

Yes pretty much that is what that means.

Well I don't seem to have any avatars showing up. ... Or any errors for that matter .... Where should they appear? Above the user name in the seller details?

For clarification - this should be/is the avatar that is set in the forum right?

You would need to give me some more information here on integration type etc. ;)

Yeah after seeing that I can safely say nope - definately no photo avatar showing. Its a nuke integration. The avatar is stored by phpbb into the nuke users table.
So Chuck you have a reef tank? Nice pic! :) Twofishguys says I hold their known record for survival of a Green Mandarin fish in captivity (8 years).

Yeah I have been keeping reef tanks for almost 20 years. I use to have at one time 6 reef tanks and was known for my basketball size heads of various Acropora. Nowadays I have just one a 220 gallon lit by 3 x 250watt 10k hqi with 8 x 39watt t5 actinics.
As far as avatars yes it is totally dependent on the type of integration whether you have avatars shown from the forum or not. Nuke is a very old integration as thats basically been a dead product for like 8 years. We do not show avatars in phpBB2 either.
If you have some urls to show maybe tell me what database table and fields hold the avatar how its stored etc I may be able to point you in the right direction on how to add it in.

Sorry went out of town for another wedding!
That sounds like such a sweet setup! I would love to see more pics ;) :) :)
The integration we use is from phpbb. It stores an avatar type (type 1, 2 or 3) into the nuke users database and if if its type 3 then that means the file is held on our server.
Basically we copy the users pic from facebook onto our server in X location and then name it and store the name into the datatable.
So basically the code would be something like:
if (user_avatar type = 3) then avatar path = (table/nuke_bbconfig field/avatar_path)+(table/nuke_users field-user_avatar)
i.e. avatar_path is the path from the domain root (domain.com)/modules/forums/avatarpath and user_avatar is a filename user.jpg.
else no avatar needs displayed.
I have sent the login information for the ftp if that helps.

I am just saying we do not show avatars in phpbb or nuke. I would need to see more precise examples and varous logins like ftp and database phpmyadmin viewer etc if I get a some time to give pointers on how to possibly add new functionality to such old integrations.
I do not beleive we had all that access so resend any emails so that we can see.

Sure thing I'll resend that info in one message for convenience. Thanks reef man!
I would really love to see more pictures. I'm such a geek for good reef pics! LOL! :) :) :) Does "admin" have a gallery there?

I spent way too much time roaming through the photo galleries :)
Was that a dresser you used to set that beast on or was that an actual stand? Either way I really liked it. I quit skimming about 2 years into it. Water changes and sponges seemed to do the trick but I only had 5 fish.
I simulated moon light once and caused a brain coral to spawn .... WHAT A MESS! I know people talk about how exciting it would be - don't do it!! - those eggs get all over everything! They clog pumps, sponges and just about everything with a hole that water comes out of.
Ever tried a product called "miracle mud?" ?

I do not think I have any pics of my current tank which is a 220 gallon. At one time I had 6 tanks.
November 6th, 2013, 11:05 PM
You know I was thinking that WAS a 220 gallon on the dresser. I was imagining it to be a really HUGE dresser like from a castle. hahahahaha

I have no idea what your talking about as there are no pics of my specific tank but anyway enjoy.
