View Full Version : Problem install to VB 5.0.4
August 22nd, 2013, 07:41 AM
Since we had changed servers, I had to perform a fresh install of photo post to a directory under forum called gallery at huntersdomain. The install went fine, but now I cannot login to the gallery as admin to generate any xml file for inclusion into VB5. I chose to use the integration with the vb 5 user login so that our members can post photos without having to re-register.
Any ideas what might have gone wrong? What can I do to change this?

You should be able to login as we do support user login with vbulletin 5. I need more info than I can not login. Have you verified cookies are properly set in vbulletin to be site wide and you installed the gallery right. You can post a url and test login here.
We are currently working on bringing back enhanced integration since vBulletin saw fit to change there entire style routine in a minor dot release from 5.02 to 5.03 and broke things and sent every developer of any product or addon back to the drawing board. ;) This is one of the million reasons I myself never upgraded to vB5 and continue to run vB4 as most vBulletin users do. No one wants to take that vB5 upgrade path since its a mess.

www dot huntersdomain dot com / forum / gallery is where the install is. I had to redesign the site. It also no longer functions with geodesic solutions bridge for members like it used to.
When I try to log in, it indicates bad username/password. I can login to vb, and tried doing that first so I was logged in. It did not help.
Thanks for the support!

You can send me site info like ftp for me to take a look. I would suspect something is not installed correctly.

Thanks...I don't know what you did, but thanks. Would you remove the user/pass from previous threads here? thanks again.
