View Full Version : MySqli Support!

Well since PHP 5.50 will depricate mysql support in lieu of mysqli I have been working on adding mysqli support.
Given most hosting environments are not going to make drastic switches most people will not have to worry about this but I have finished and have two test sites of mine running mysqli support in PhotoPost Pro.

I will also be adding the ability to set charset in the config for mysql so as we use utf8 natively because it works with most any language some cases users who integrate with the various forums we support use a different collation. Therefore I will be adding a select on config to set your charset for mysql to match the forum.

Have the upgrade script converted added in the ability togo right to the upgrade you need to start with automatically might do some other friendly things but once I finish things up I will release an 8.31 release.
