Are you sure you have uploaded that library directory that I noted to upload in the actual idocumentation for upgrade or install?
The install directory has a library directory that needs to be uploaded to your xenforo library directory. That includes the listener file all that needs to exist for the plugin to work.
As far login are you sure your cookies are set right between xenforo and the gallery. Both applications should be set like so
cookie path /
cookie prefix xf_
cookie domain .yoursite.com
I would think you would be able to login after that.,

ok, I've overlooked the upload into xenforo's library *shame*
(btw, your help file from the actual dld refers to the classified script )
it integrates now with the gallery tab and sub tab *cool*
I'm not able to login as admin.
1. the link of the sub tab looks like: http://www.zroadster.com/forum/^ppurl/adm-index.php
which should be
2. after correcting the url I'm still not allowed - maybe I'm still too dump for the cookie thing, but I think things are right.
I can in pp only set "Forum Cookie Prefix" which is set to "xf_" as I didn't change that it should be all right.
any ideas? :)

1. You did not set permissions on the xml files to 777 so they can be generated correctly ;) Number one issue we have had is users not reading the documentation all way back to 8.0 when we moved things around and starting adding external plugins etc.
If I look at your site you have not upgraded it properly. Look at the error that is why you can not login.
You missed an upgrade. Maybe You did not run the 8.0 to 8.1 upgrade script so disregard any duplicate error messages you may receive and run 8.0 all the way to 8.3

which xml files do you mean? in the install folder?
I do not find something to this in the documentation, neither in the installation nor in the update file... am I that blind?
At least something good at the moment - I'm able to access now the admin panel B=0 so the cookie issue and update's issue seems to be resolved :o
March 24th, 2013, 05:02 AM
now I've got it.
maybe I'm going to get older... :p
it looks so smooth when its done ;) thanks :D
also the language in xenforo can be adopted with ease! thx!
one more thing... as I run it in german, the photopost site is schowing ugly sign s for german letters as äöüß etc.
how can I resolve this?
March 24th, 2013, 09:20 AM
well what is the character encoding in the page? From what I know we are simply loading the charset that xenforo loads which on my site seems to be utf-8
I would need to see your site example to see if I see anything out of place.
March 25th, 2013, 04:02 PM
Xenforo stated following
XenForo is UTF-8 native. It's not configurable, and normally you would not want to change this. UTF-8 is the place to be.
what do you think we shall do next?
March 25th, 2013, 05:04 PM
They are correct utf-8 is where you want to do.
Okay well what character set do you use that makes german display right for you in where else your doing it?
I do not use german so this is why I am asking you. You would need to give specific examples. I would think utf-8 should work but when you integrate with xenforo or vb and use there header systems you are going to be limited to them.
I can do nothing to language if your using vb or xenforo whatever language you define would have to be coded to display correct in utf-8. If for example your using our german which is coded I believe to display in iso-8859-1 that might be the issue not sure without info.
March 26th, 2013, 01:55 AM
the german is managed through phrase translation.
pls see enclosed the basic german files which also refer to utf-8
i'm helpless..

How about actually direct live urls to where it works and where it doesn't
If I can not see your issue I can not comment on your issue. ;)
Is this it?
March 26th, 2013, 09:18 AM
One thought I have is what are your database tables set up like?
That is where I would start in how are things being saved in the database where it displays correctly and where it displays incorrectly.
What I would tend to think here is your stuff was in a different encoding when you where not using the xenforo header and then now your using a different encoding.
March 26th, 2013, 09:47 AM
I would need full ftp admin login and database url and logins so I can see how things are stored. That is where I beleive your issue is.

test - Omegatron Gallery (http://www.omegatron.net/gallery/g501-test.html)
see that this displays right both a database entry on the comment plus the language string for filesize?
I would need to see your database to comment on that but if your using the default german file that comes with the gallery the charset that is encoded with is is0-8859-1
You will need to open that german.php language file in notepad and do save as make sure to type german.php save as ALL FILES and under encoding select utf8 and reupload to your server.
March 26th, 2013, 06:50 PM
Here is a utf8 encoded german language file that should help your language display for our language phrases. For database entries I would need to see your database to see what encoding is going on.
You will need to download that file rename it to german.php and upload to your languages subdirectory.

i'm sorry for the late response as i'm travelling a lot at present...
yes, the urls are:
zroadster.com - BMW Z1 Z2 Z3 Z4 Z8 M MINI Roadster Coupe (http://www.zroadster.com/forum/)
zroadster.com - BMW Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z8, M, MINI Roadster + Coupe (http://www.zroadster.com/galerie/)
i've uploaded your file but unfortunately no change.
also when i'm open this file and the original file i can see the äöü letters are not showing correctly.
i'm using therefor textedit on mac os x.
then i had another idea.
opening the german.php file in dreamweaver was interpreting the file correctly with the äöü.
so i've copy and paste it in a new german.php file and uploaded it.
so part of the problem is solved :)
what is still left is the category descriptions which are not showing the respective characters.
if you allow me to pn you or give me your mail address i can forward you the login to our database.
March 27th, 2013, 08:30 AM
You do not need to attach your file mine was fine probally your issue reading it was related to you and a MAC.
That is why I showed you the link to my gallery with the german.
You can not mix and match encodings it does not work. I would need to see your database tables to comment about things. Your tables need to be utf8 and once that you should be able to edit your catnames descriptions and it should work fine.
March 28th, 2013, 01:39 AM
as mentioned i'm not allowed to pn you for the db access data's...
Chuck S has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her.
btw, my db says
MySQL charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)
MySQL connection collation: utf8_unicode_ci
