When uploading in batches - it happens after the default 10th image when it tries to grab the next 10
The actual image isnt the issue - its the redirect to the next 10 that fails
Ive checked the perms for uploads and data to 777

My suggestion would be first to try downloading 8.23 and upload those changed files there are a couple and try things out.

If your get_ext function in pp-inc.php is not this then you probally want to make sure it is.
function get_ext( $filename )
if ( PHP_VERSION >= '5.3.0' )
return substr( $filename, strrpos($filename,".",0) );
return substr( $filename, strrpos($filename,".") );

Seems to be an issue with your custom style. I did a search on our style matching and there is only two lines that do any match with links and thats in the header of the box.
Therefore any link colors would be inherited from the parent. Somewhere your setting the background color to black and link colors also to black in your vb custom style
Maybe try placing this at the bottom of your photopost.css template in vb admin template editor see if that helps
.box-body a:link, .box-body_alink
.box-body a:visited, .box-body_avisited
