Please post a url and test user login for us to try uploading.
You can also let us know what type of upload your doing flash or regular. If its flash turn off flash and try regular uploading.
Also is safe mode on in PHP? You can turn off moderation if you wish of images under the permissions in vbgallery admin.

if safe mode is on in your maintenance tab under vbgallery make sure to set the safe mode bypass to ON. Then try uploading and as well make sure your server paths are correct to the files and users directories as well as making sure they are 777 permissions.
If your on a test forum where we can not check it out that does limit your support options.

safe mode bypass to ON
Server path all correct, Files folder CHMode 777
Gallery Show old images users uploaded
May 23rd, 2012, 02:03 PM
Is the users folder set to 777?
Is file uploads on in PHP?
Basically you need to see is anything being uploaded to the users folder?
Is the actual file being uploaded.

Well obviously my access is limited here to assist since this is a site we have no access to but sounds to me like file uploads on the server are not working. Maybe something to do with server setup. Have you tried attachments in the forum?
May 23rd, 2012, 03:15 PM
i cant upload image an attachment
"Image resize failed due to your image library not having support for this image type."
May 23rd, 2012, 03:16 PM
Yep then your issue is your server so no type of uploads work. You would need to fix your server to allow uploads might want to have your host check this out. Make sure your image processor is setup correctly and up[loads work and things should be fine. This at least narrows it down to your specific server and is not an issue with the gallery application itself.

GD disabled in PHP ,
thats Why it not uploading ?
May 23rd, 2012, 03:52 PM
You need to first make sure you have a working image processor and try and if you still have issues look at how the server is setup. What I am saying is the issue is coming from the server not the software. Your forum or gallery is not operational as far as uploads are concerned.
We provide support of the software. You would need to contact your webhost to ensure things are setup properly to allow uploads and process images.

Now GD enabled,
I can upload image in forum , but not in vbgallery

Okay what is your image processor set to in the gallery. This is basically the point where I would definately have asked for info to look at this but since that is not possible from what you are saying we have reached the point where I think I have stated everything it could be. Something I have stated in this thread is not correct where as you have told me it is. Now there is also one thing also to consider in your forum are you using database storage or file storage for attachments. Make sure attachments are set in vb admin to store as file not database. Then you can test upload in the forum.

Resize Program GD2
Storage Type was in stored in the database
May 24th, 2012, 12:14 PM
Okay well you should try like I suggested see if you can upload an attachment in the forum after you change the storage type to file storage and see if you can upload to rule out the server. vbGallery only does file storage so if there is a problem with storing a file on disk you must check it out.

now Storage Type forum/attachment
i can upload image in forum
vbgallery upload not work
i can share my site , info, how i send ?
May 24th, 2012, 12:53 PM
Well you said earlier that you could not share site info which is why I said not much more support we can give without info. If you can send a working url admin login and ftp login to the site you can send that to the contact us link in our site header. I could have checked out your site yesterday. ;)
