You said safe mode in PHP is on?
As long as safe mode is off and the folder is correct you should as admin be able to upload from the server. I just tested this and does appear to work fine. Your uploaded images and directory should be 777 permissions.

You said safe mode in PHP is on?
It is necessary to switch off safe mode?
Your uploaded images and directory should be 777 permissions.
Change File Storage Method On or Off ?
September 8th, 2011, 03:28 PM
If safe mode is off then you need to change the file storage method to not safe mode.
September 8th, 2011, 03:43 PM
now safe mode PHP is on
Click the 'Change File Storage Method' button below to turn the safemode bypass On.

I think there is some type of misunderstanding
Your safe mode in PHP should be off and safe mode bypass off

To work a Upload From Server, I need to turn off safe mode and safe mode bypass ?
September 8th, 2011, 05:43 PM
I would suspect this is your issue because with safe mode on the actual users upload folder and files folders are all the main ones. having safe mode on means folders can not be created so files are processed and stored a different way.

reinstall vbgallrery, now works
Function (+] Larger Image / [-] Smaller Image) is incorrectly displayed
Gallery Message - Gallery 12mm (http://gallery1.12mm.ru/showimage.php?i=428&catid=newimages&langid=1)
Now another problem. how to make the default display middle size?
now is displayed by default large size.

I hate to say, but I'm unable to upload directly from the server, also.
Safe Mode is off, I've chmod'd the "user", "1", and "files" folders to 777 and I'm getting no results, and the pics remain in that folder.
Any ideas? I just installed the newest version yesterday. vBulletin 4.1.6.
[EDIT] I just realized that it just won't process multiple uploads, even with the standard upload method. Single uploads are fine.
September 18th, 2011, 05:26 PM
If you ftp files to the server make sure your users upload directory and all files you uploaded are 777 permissions.
September 18th, 2011, 05:35 PM
Okay, I'll try that next time. I didn't 777 the individual files.
I just got done uploading 36 images, so I won't be doing that again for a while! :o

I am sorry, I 1 day new to the vBGallery. Could you tell me where to set the php safe mode on or off?
I have problem of loading through the server
November 16th, 2011, 03:10 PM
php safe mode is turned off in your php.ini file on your server. if you do not run your own server you may need to ask your host if it is on. Have you verified it is on and yes if it is on you can not use the flash uploader.
November 16th, 2011, 03:45 PM
Yes, I checked with the host and they said the php safe mode is already set = OFF. Is there any other idea that you could advice me?
November 16th, 2011, 03:56 PM
You can check mod_security to make sure thats off on the server but aside from that no other ideas. We did not write that external application so what I can say about that application is limited.
November 16th, 2011, 06:21 PM
Okay, so that would mean the multiple upload not going to work for me.
That the case, then is there way for me to turn off the "+ Upload Image" button so that the users will not see it?
November 16th, 2011, 06:42 PM
You do not want users to see an upload link you would remove upload permissions.
