View Full Version : New Install - Fatal Error
April 9th, 2011, 01:04 PM
I have tried doing a new, clean install of PP Classifieds 3 times now, with the same results. (Integrated with vb 4)
Warning: require_once(./includes/class_postbit.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxx/public_html/classifiedads/header-inc.php on line 139
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './includes/class_postbit.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/xxx/public_html/classifiedads/header-inc.php on line 139
I'm 99% sure my paths are correctly set. (and it seems to include the global.php after the chdir just fine in the header-inc.php). But when it gets to the class_postbit.php include on line 139 .. it craps out.

I also noticed that in the instructions it says:
5.) vbPortal/vBulletin header-inc.php Visual Integration
If you use vbPortal or vBulletin, you can integrate your forum's look and feel into PhotoPost. The vbPortal integration displays your vbPortal top/left side, and bottom, around PhotoPost. The vBulletin integration displays your default vB header/footer templates with PhotoPost. To implement this, open header-inc.php and follow the instructions there. vbPortal users should only edit the vbPortal section (not the vBulletin section), and those who use vBulletin only should only modify the vBulletin section.
.. but I do not see any instructions in there for vBulletin (I do see the vbPortal instructions near the bottom though)

You can not use classifieds 3 with vbulletin 4. You need to use our latest code which is compatible with vbulletin 4. The 3 series was not compatible as that was released way before vb4 came out.

This is a fresh PP Classifieds 4.2 install.
What I was saying ... is I tried it 3 times now. (with the same errors)

Tried it again a 4th time .. same results.
I'm running vBulletin 4.1.3 on PHP 5.2.5 / MySQL 5.0.92

whatever path your using for your forum can not be correct if thats what you get and are using the correct code. You will have other errors as well so feel free to post a real url to your install. Also in the PhotoPost FAQ forum number 2 should help
Clearly in my vbulletin 4 in my forums include directory there is a class_postbit.php file so your path needs checking.

I would prefer not to post my information publicly. I can not send you PMs. Do you have an email address that I can send the information to? Or an IM to help me out?
(I have set up Photopost before many times for clients, and fully understand paths. If it is including the global.php earlier in the script, it really doesn't make much sense to me why it can't see the postbit using the same path)
I have read the FAQ fully and am still having problems.

You can send info via the contact us link.
I can assure you as many other customers here can that Classifieds 4.x series indeed works with vbulletin 4.
