Hi Chuck,

I'm having problems with users not being able to unsubscribe. Instead they are getting the message below. This is an email we had from a very angry user.

We even deleted his account but he still seems to be getting the emails.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Subject: STOP RELENTLESSLY SPAMMING ME!

Message: I follow the link to 'turn subscription off' and your "Script
call malformed. Some actions require you to be logged in. Please
verify you are logged in and try the link again. If you continue to
have problems please notify your Administrator." WELL - I've informed
the administrator before and I still get these damn emails. If they
don't stop within a week I'll report to site jabber and others...

You could not have really deleted his account since he is getting emails. Basically he gets emails because he has subscribed to them. Since we can still get his email from his user account he can not be deleted.

Now unsubscribing I am not aware of any issues my suggestion would be to post for support in the appropriate support forum should you have access to receive product support. My main suggestion would be if your using older outdated software would be to upgrade.

Chuck,

I tried posting in the appropriate Classifieds support forum, but it appears my privileges have changed. I even tried replying to one of my old posts from the support forum, and I couldn't. Would you be able to reinstate my access?

I can continue to post about my problem in here, if that's easier.

One owned license grants you the right to run one software installation on one domain for an unlimited time, and purchasing an owned license gives you access to our members download area and support for one year. If your members access to download updates or receive product support then you would need to renew access from our online store.
