Ahhh, I have been going crazy looking and it was right there. Thanks
Chuck, 1 more thing for right now, How hard is it to add additional fields? How many, and which files do I need to edit?
August 6th, 2010, 10:03 AM
Adding additional fields is not real easy but not complicated either if you know what your doing.
Remember if you want to add fields that do not exist you must at minimum do the following in the proper places.
1. Create any such fields in the proper mysql tables to store the info you want to collect.
2. Alter any mysql queries to get and define such fields and save new data for such fields etc etc
3. Properly edit associated templates with the correct html and variables you have defined to show edit and display such data.
That of course is just an overview

Chuck, I already altered the tmpl files to reflect the fields. I am working now on inserting the fields in the database. Would you be able to assist me in telling me, do I need to enter the info in any file other than member.php?
August 6th, 2010, 10:31 AM
that would depend on what your trying to do with any new fields. If it is just when viewing or editing a profile then member.php should be all

Yes, being that I have a tattoo themed website, I want to add fields that will allow the user to insert their favorite tattoo shop, address, phone and URL. So it is just going to be editing and viewing. I am about 60% done with the modification. Wish me luck, lol
Oh, and, THANK YOU for your help. I greatly appreciate it!

Ok, I am 95% done. Now, I just need the info to show on the actual profile. It is storing in the database, I am soooo close.......
