View Full Version : Step Three Error
August 29th, 2009, 06:53 PM
Keep getting this Error message when I'm trying to install Photopost Pro.
Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'mysite'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in /home/mysite/public_html/photopost/install.php on line 570
I cannot connect to the PhotoPost MySQL server. [host:$host][mysql_user:$mysql_user][mysql_password:$mysql_password]. Check your config-inc.php for the correct settings and rerun.
Cheeked the setting and they seem OK, trying to load it onto my VB database and have looked over the forums here but can't find an answer.
Thanks in advance.

That error means the database info in the config is incorrect on install and you need to correct this.
August 29th, 2009, 07:37 PM
Chuck, I've tried every variation possible but I still can't get it to work.
I know you've likely heard this a million times but can you give me a rough idea what to put in the user database fields please.
August 29th, 2009, 07:57 PM
The Photopost database fields you put the proper database info. This can be the same as the user database portion if your installing into the same database as the forum.
The User Database information you put the forum database info from your forum config file.
Make sure the database host name username and password are all correct.

Might just be better if I get you to do it.
Do I just go to the homepage and buy an Installation Service?
August 30th, 2009, 03:55 PM
Yes you can do that

August 30th, 2009, 05:48 PM
Okay not a problem make sure to return the install contract they send and we will get this done asap
August 30th, 2009, 05:53 PM
What install contract, the license email? where do I return it to?
August 30th, 2009, 05:57 PM
You get an email confirmation from yahoo on the order. next customer service processes your order and sends you the install contract which is where you authorize us to access your site and list your site details. You send this back they then send it to install person and your site gets installed.

September 1st, 2009, 03:33 PM
Chuck, can you give me some sort of time scale as to when this will be install please.
September 1st, 2009, 03:56 PM
As stated once you sent the install document back to customer service they will release it to be installed. Have you sent the install document back to customer service?
September 1st, 2009, 04:02 PM
Sent all the required documents back yesterday at 7.55pm my time.
September 1st, 2009, 07:45 PM
Okay well then please contact customer service through the contact us link in the header they should be able to tell you status.
September 2nd, 2009, 01:02 AM
Tried sending the email again but all I'm getting is the email failure notice?
It was sent to both customer services and yourself that time.
September 2nd, 2009, 07:52 AM
I was copied on an email customer service sent you. They essentially asked you how you sent in your install document fax or email. They told you they have recieved nothing from you and if your getting email failures then you have some sort of email issue I would think
try faxing the document to 1-443-264-2555
September 2nd, 2009, 11:54 AM
Nothing wrong with my email, your one is the only one that I can't sent to.
I've sent it to your email Chuck as I don't have a fax, no error message back as yet.
Lets hope it's received this time!
PS just received the error again as I write this, can you PM me a valid email please.
September 2nd, 2009, 12:35 PM
Well I am not sure what email your referring to your trying to send to me but all emails are valid here. You dont have my personal email addresses that I know of. You can email us through the contact us link in our header.
We get email all day long. What exact error are you getting? Your telling me you dont have an email issue but you keep posting about errors your getting so lets see that error. ;)
You can always fax it from a kinko's or postal supply store if you dont have a fax at home.
September 2nd, 2009, 01:42 PM
I've been emailing all day to and don't any any errors except from you guys ;)
Been sending to firstname.lastname@example.org & email@example.com and get error message.
But I can't show it as it keeps freezing my browsers when I try to open it :)
Sent the docs as images through your contact us at the top of the forum.

September 2nd, 2009, 02:48 PM

September 2nd, 2009, 03:00 PM
