Are you electing to show text links or icon links in showphoto options in admin?
How about posting a true link to your gallery.

I like to have icon links. Where do I have to select it?

In Admin => ShowPhoto Options is where you select icon or text links. You would also make sure you upload the entire images directory if you recently upgraded so all images exist.

November 10th, 2008, 09:42 PM
Okay then you have it set to display text links in showphoto options?
November 11th, 2008, 07:47 AM
I also have this exact problem and I have Use images for user menu options on showphoto? set to yes. It shows some of the icons.
In my case I can´t even see the move/delete options anymore, I thought it was moved somewhere else but from your screenshot I can see it is supposed to appear.

Please see my response as the menu has changed for vbulletin users

Standalone version, yet I do not see the move/remove links nor icons show on additional info under the pictures.
So from the looks of it I have two separate problems:
1) I can only partially see icons, 4 of them display the rest are displaying as text links, even when I have show icon set to yes;
2) I cannot see move/delete link, neither a link nor an icon;

It would be nice to have a link and test login so I can actually see the site in question.

Chuck I tried changing back to english lang and the move/delete link appeared.
I checked the english lang and found:
$Globals['pp_lang']['movedel'] = "Move/Delete";
Which isn´t present in portuguese_br lang, after adding it to portuguese_br.php it worked fine.
I thought all new variables were added to all language files for translation, no?
Maybe Michael missed some, or maybe I mistakenly thought it worked that way.
So the missing link problem is solved, now need to figure out why icons are not displaying.
November 11th, 2008, 12:21 PM
Michael could have missed that sure or whomever made that translation missed it.
November 11th, 2008, 12:38 PM
I believe the translation is mine btw lol, but what I´ve been doing is getting the updated portuguese_br file and translating the new variables at each new release. But now comparing the amount of lines on both english and portuguese_br, I guess they are quite different.
Well, right now I don´t have the time to go through all lines and compare.
At least the missing link is solved now, right now my problem is the same as the original poster. I have same icons missing and displayed as he shown on his shot: http://img262.imageshack.us/img262/1513/showphotopw3.gif

well reason I say is the phrase movedel is not a new phrase so it must have been missing for awile.
November 11th, 2008, 01:26 PM
The weird thing is that it was working on my 6.1 translation. The icons also worked fine till the upgrade.
November 11th, 2008, 01:30 PM
well they 6.2 is a little different with those because of the new java vb thing.
November 16th, 2008, 11:36 PM
6.1 was much much much better then 6.2
There is so many option missing in 6.2
In 6.1 visiter could see the file size and photo views under the thumbnail but in 6.2 there is only naked thumbnail. and it looks gallery very chip
November 17th, 2008, 07:39 AM
Not sure what you mean by that sherpa
Thats something you control entirely. You set your category default view in edit categories. If you have yours defaulted to thumbnail sure thats what you will see. Otherwise gallery view is what you should use if you want those options to show

Sorry to let you know there is not such option category default view in edit categories.
If you mean to say Default thumbnail layout?* then yes I tried changing to both gallery and thumbnail but nothing was changed
November 17th, 2008, 05:30 PM
Admin => Edit Categories => Category Layout?
PhotoPost standard layout is a Gallery layout which shows all photos uploaded to that category. A Member Gallery shows photos grouped by users which then link to a gallery page of all that users photos in that category (similiar to the Members Gallery, but category specific).

I dont see the Icon choice in adm-index.php
I do see Use images for user menu options on showphoto?
Is that what you mean ?
I dont have any icons at all for edit delete ect
I tried redownloading the files and updating them
Ive set the use images to BOTH yes and no - no change
February 16th, 2009, 08:15 PM
what change are you trying to do?
Icons are shown on showphoto script. They are shown in the vb3 enhanced under the drop down photo options.

the icons are missing
I deleted all the code on the server and uploaded fresh code
Main Index - Mercury Marauder.Net Photo Gallery (http://www.mercurymarauder.net/gallery/)
February 16th, 2009, 08:42 PM
ok now I see that that the icons are under the photo options drop down - still no delete or edit icon
February 17th, 2009, 10:06 AM
If a user has edit permissions in edit usergroups there is most definately an edit photo link. If you allow them to move/delete under admin options then there is a delete checkbox on the edit photo script for users to use.
They are not going to see your admin move delete box.
