View Full Version : Which one now that VB has better profiles...

I'm hoping to use vBulletin for the basic profile pictures and use Photopost or vB Gallery as the full blown gallery posting vehicle since it does so much more and handles far more movies, videos, etc. But the challenge is that I know that Photopost doesn't integrate well with current profiles and actually replaces them. I'm hoping to simply have a place on an existing vB profile where you get an extra tab on the user's vB profile (there are already a couple) for "albums" and for a user's pictures in photpost or vB gallery. Has anyone thought about the best package and how to use them now that vb 3 is here with profile enhancements?

Well I dont think either one is going to integrate with vbulletins profile photos thing. If your not wanting to use the full featured photopost pro gallery you might want to stick with vbgallery at any rate you can try either one and keep the one you like best.

I'll take a look. I was guessing that vbgallery is probably the one that might provide the tightest integration. The challenge is that you have dueling profile pages and with a photo gallery you just want there to be an easy way to see all the albums created by a user. Thanks Chuck.
