View Full Version : Templates - I'm stuck!

I bought PhotoPost recently, but now I'm stuck trying to edit the templates.
I've got my head round the main content bits, but where do I edit the header and footers, the bits that actually product the <html> <head> etc

You can fill out the full server path to header and footer htm files in Global Options in Admin. You can then hit edit header or edit footer in Admin to input the html you wish for each thing. There is a mock header and footer htm file in the photopost directory you can load and edit.

Tried that already. But it still loads its own <html> tags
Just puts my content after the opening <body> tag.
What happens if I want to modify how the style sheet is linked etc?

This is correct you load a header footer html etc.
You can load a headtags file to load alternate stylesheets or mets tags script tags etc that go between head tags
Our program automatically loads the html body head tags properly and allows you to add data to the header footer and head portions of the page using includes.

So, for example if I don't want to use your default.css, I have to have an empty default.css file and the <link rel...> line in the code still?
