View Full Version : Uploading Issues...AGAIN
March 2nd, 2008, 02:34 PM
I keep having issues doing a bulk upload…I load all of the files into my directory and submit for upload…it says ’Processing P3020201.JPG...’ and then the page just STOPS. I keep reloading but that doesn’t seem to help. I’ve been having this issue for quite some time and keep having to come back here for a new fix. Does anyone have any help/suggestions? This is a TIME SENSITIVE request and need it to be fixed ASAP! Thank you.

I would suspect normal timeouts and memory exhaustion this should help

I have this line in there already...we did this before.
// GMM 07July2006 - Increase PHP memory //
March 2nd, 2008, 03:17 PM
okay try adding this one

Add it or replace ini_set("memory_limit", "48M");
March 2nd, 2008, 03:32 PM
adding that one not replacing the other ;)
March 2nd, 2008, 03:35 PM
So the line should read: ini_set("memory_limit", "48M");ini_set("max_execution_time", 0);
Please tell me exactly what to add and how it should look. I am very inexperienced in this and need to have this done right and FAST. Thanks.

I updated the file, deleted the pictures in the directory, re-uploaded the pictures and it still doesn't work.

what is the error you get? page just stops does not give me a detailed account of your issue.

Page stops, doesnt upload ANY photos. I hit refresh and the same thing happens over and over again.
It keeps saying: 'Processing P3020202.JPG...'
These pictures need to go up! :mad:

Okay and you can PM us the admin login and ftp info for that site.
Page stops as in what way? You see what I am getting at here. You say you have altered your php settings so you dont get timeouts but it sure looks like one to me. If you get a white page that usually means a memory issue. I need to also know the directory where your processing files from and the directory and files all need to be 777
Your also using an extremely old version of photopost like 3 years old so my suggestion is you upgrade your site.

I sent you the login info. The page doesnt process anything -- it looks like its about to start and then nothing happens. It's not a completely white page. The directory is /gallery/uploads/1
What does 777 mean?
March 2nd, 2008, 04:57 PM
Those are permissions on your directories which must be set correctly
You sent just ftp login I need admin login to login to the gallery
