this is my site... www.seedirtrun.com and we do pressure washing and high end wood restoration. I would love something with a wood look to it, with some touches of blue. I would also like to know how to have rounded corners on the images and a shadow, or maybe the filmstrip option? Do you build skins?

I'm looking for something more like the skins you see for VB if that helps. I can't believe this is hard to find.... :(

Well the issue is most all the vb skins are made for vbulletin you would need to rework your entire site to use the same style classes etc

There is a site rentacoder.com you can look at seeing if someone can do this just remember you need to make a style for your site and a matching stylesheet for photopost

If you want a true vb site then you could also always purchase vbulletin and whatever style you want and convert your site to vb. Just factor all that into your pricing structure when you factor costs of redesigning a style or converting to vb.

I'm not running Photopost through VB. It is standing alone as a photo gallery on my site. It doesn't entirely look the way I would like on my site. I would like a skin, would pay for a skin, can ANYONE help me? Help as in YES we can do this, let's talk about it and DO it?

This is my Gallery: See Dirt Run! - Main Index (http://www.seedirtrun.com/gallery/)
This is the web site it is on and needs to match: Maryland pressure washing, deck cleaning and sealing, log and cedar home maintenance, house washing, etc - See Dirt Run™ (http://www.seedirtrun.com)
This is a fairly close match to our home page: eXtremepixels demo and customers forum - vBulletin skins / IPB skins and phpBB skins (http://www.extremepixels.com/forum/index.php?styleid=71)

Chuck S

Okay well do you want the colors to match that maryland pressure site or the extreme pixels style?

LadyBeth

I want the colors to match the See Dirt Run site. Is this something you can do?

Chuck S

I can probally come up with something that would match however what I asked was this.

Did you want a stylesheet based on the colors you see at the maryland pressure site or that extreme pixel site?

You gave two different examples.

I DID answer you. What you call Maryland pressure, is See Dirt Run located at Maryland pressure washing, deck cleaning and sealing, log and cedar home maintenance, house washing, etc - See Dirt Run™ (http://www.seedirtrun.com).
Can you do this with gradients and such or just a style sheet?

Gradients are loaded in a stylesheet. I dont think you understood here.

The maryland page has specific colors we can try and make a stylesheet from

The other extreme pixel site has specific colors we can try and make a stylesheet from

I am asking which one would you like the to use the colors gradients from?

I can come up with a test look for you to look at but I need to know which color scheme we are pulling from.

Chuck, please look at my gallery: See Dirt Run! - Main Index (http://www.seedirtrun.com/gallery/index.php)
I had not counted on our logo getting in the way. What do you think is the best way to handle it, given that the logo and it being a link back to our Home page have to stay? Any way to tweak the CSS to take the logo into account? It looks fine on the light color, but the dark one....not so much.

Just my 2 cents, but the Logo needs to be smaller if you want it inside the header bar, or perhaps load inside the header to display in center or left. Might suggest matching the blue as the main header bar color you have set. Hex color code: #365B90

actually, if you include your left sidebar, you can add custom html code to display your logo inside it, within one of the custom pals..

you might also consider adding a custom link in your menubar.tpml for your 'home' - since home is actually just the gallery, not the home page of your site.

This is for our business so I really want the logo ( actually it is only the name portion of it) right where it is. How would I add a link to the menu bar to go back to true home (biz main page) and can I rename the one that says Home to something like Main Gallery?

Beth

Then I suggest moving it down a bit. How are you adding it, via a html header?

In admin, under edit template, edit menubar.tmpl and add something like this:

<a title="Go back to out main page!" href="http://your link">Home</a> ·

Make sure you add the · to separate the menus as they are
add this after this:

&nbsp;$menu2
</td>
<td class="" width="50%" align="right" valign="middle">

For the 'Home", you need to edit language file, english.php, and change 'Home" to something else.

Your menubar.tmpl should look something like this once done:

<?php
echo <<<PPPRINT
<!-- BEGIN TEMPLATE: menubar.tmpl REPLACEME -->
$ppopen
<tr>
<td class="{$Style['menubar']}" width="100%" colspan="2">
<table width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
<tr>
<td class="" width="50%" align="left" valign="middle">
&nbsp;$menu2
</td>
<td class="" width="50%" align="right" valign="middle">

<a title="Go back to out main page!" href="http://your link">Home</a> ·
$menu&nbsp;
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</td>
</tr>
$ppclose<br />
<!-- END TEMPLATE: menubar.tmpl REPLACEME -->
PPPRINT;

?>

why not add a couple break tags before the img tag in the header to make the logo appear below the blue bar.
