View Full Version : Small mesage board problem
October 2nd, 2007, 07:38 AM
When I try and view a thread, I get a page not found error, it appears to be pointing at board.php in the root directory, when my board.php is in the /photopost directory.
Tried editing this in the board template, but couln't edit it, giving me the following message.
Warning: fopen(/home/wellen2/public_html/photopost/templates/board.tmpl): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/wellen2/public_html/photopost/adm-misc.php on line 2329
Unable to write changes, permissions on board.tmpl are not set properly.

Make sure the tmpl files in your templates folders are writable ftp in and set them to 666 permissions per our install doc here

OK thanks Chuck, there were two addresses in the template I needed to edit, seems to be working now. :)
Just noticed that clicking on the Who's Online link at the bottom of the page gives me this error, there does not appear to be a whoonline template in the templates directory.
Warning: main(/home/wellen2/public_html/photopost/templates/whoonline.tmpl): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/wellen2/public_html/photopost/online.php on line 151
Warning: main(): Failed opening '/home/wellen2/public_html/photopost/templates/whoonline.tmpl' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/wellen2/public_html/photopost/online.php on line 151

My suggestion is ensure you have upoaded all the new files and set permissions accordingly as they do exist in the 6.0 download.
